Eagles centre-back Brede Hangeland returns to the Palace starting line-up for the visit of Chelsea this afternoon, replacing the injured Scott Dann.
Dann picked up a knee injury last time out against Hull City and despite already being back in light training is forced to sit this game out, with the towering Norwegian selected in his absence in what will be his fifth appearance of the season.
That is the only change to the Palace side that lost 2-0 at the KC Stadium, with Yannick Bolasie included in the starting line-up despite only returning from international duty yesterday.
The headline news for the Chelsea team is that top-scorer Diego Costa is out of the squad having struggled with injury over recent weeks.
Loic Remy has taken his place in the side, and Jose Mourinho has also been forced to drop Andre Schurrle who has picked up flu with Willian coming in for the German winger.
