Palace's academy side beat Queens Park Rangers 2-0 in their latest U18 Professional Development League 2 game thanks to two goals from James Daly.
In a first-half a few chances, Rangers went close when Gianni Critchlow saw an effort strike the post after cutting inside from the left but Oliver Pain got his fingertips to his efforts.
Dan Derbyshire then fired wide of the far post when he did well to turn Emmanuel Omrore on the edge of the box, with Ollie Bennett shooting narrowly over for the Eagles with their best attempt of the first 45.
Ken Gillard's side thought they'd taken the lead when Andre Coker whipped in a free-kick that Jalen Jones headed home, but his celebrations were cut short by the offside flag, but on 58 minutes they did get themselves in front when Coker took on three home defenders, and a brilliant flick put the ball on a plate for Daly who tucked the ball home for his first under-18s goal.
Seven minutes later the pair combined again to find a second goal. Once again it was Coker coming inside from his right wing to find Daly, who found the bottom corner at the second attempt after his initial effort was blocked by a defender.
Coker then nearly had a goal himself but shot straight at the goalkeeper when through one-on-one, and then Levi Lumeka was thwarted by firstly the keeper when he pushed over a stinging drive, and then the officials when he challenged the goalkeeper for a 50/50 ball and put it in the net but was deemed to have fouled the Rangers man in the process, but his visitors ran out comfortable winners nevertheless.
