Palace midfielder Joe Ledley has hailed the Eagles' dominant performance in the south London derby thumping of Charlton Athletic, suggesting the visitors posed no threat to the home side at Selhurst Park.
Alan Pardew picked a strong side to face the Addicks in SE25 and it showed from the start, with the Eagles dominating possession and trying to pry a way through a defensive Charlton side.
"First half they didn't threaten us at all, I don't think they had one shot," Ledley said after the match. "We were just waiting for that one goal.
"It's always difficult when people sit in and you've got to try to break them down, but I thought we dominated straight from the off."
