Adebayor Starts, Bolasie Makes The Bench

21 February 2016

Yannick Bolasie makes a return to Palace's matchday squad for the Emirates FA Cup clash at Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon. The winger, who has been out of action since the 2-1 Premier League victory at Stoke City, makes the substitutes' bench for the Eagles' fifth round clash at White Hart Lane.

Palace have named a strong side for the game, though Alan Pardew's selection was slightly hampered by injuries and the suspension of Pape Souare.

Wayne Hennessey starts in goal, with a back four of Joel Ward, Scott Dann, captain Damien Delaney and Martin Kelly ahead of him.

Yohan Cabaye and Joe Ledley look to be anchoring the midfield and trying to stifle Spurs' exciting central players, with Jordon Mutch and Wilfried Zaha likely to provide width.

Up front Emmanuel Adebayor starts on his first return to White Hart Lane since leaving Mauricio Pochettino's side, alongside Connor Wickham.

Palace‬ XI: Hennessey; Ward, Dann, Delaney (c), Kelly; Zaha, Cabaye, Ledley, Mutch; Wickham, Adebayor.

Subs: McCarthy, Mariappa, Jedinak, Lee, Bolasie, Campbell, Gayle.

Tottenham Hotspur XI: Vorm, Walker, Dier, Wimmer, Rose; Bentaleb, Dembele; Alli, Onomah, Son; Kane (c).

Subs: McGee, Alderweireld, Trippier, Chadli, Eriksen, Mason, Winks.
