Emmanuel Adebayor has revealed his disappointment at Palace's 2-1 home defeat to Watford, but insisted that he and his teammates must take the positives into the next run of games.
"In the first half Watford played very well, but in the second half we played very well, we controlled the game," he reflected. "Unfortunately they scored that second goal. We have to keep the positives in our head, we have to keep going, keep fighting."
"We've got some good players that are coming back now from injury, like Bolasie and Sako. They will give us a lift and we can be stronger."
Adebayor netted his first goal for the Eagles, looping a header superbly beyond Heurelho Gomes, but it wasn't enough to secure a point for the home side.
"I have never struggled when it comes to fitness levels," the striker said of his condition. "I have been working hard when I was away from football, when I was in Africa with my personal trainer and my friends. Today - getting 90 minutes under my belt is positive, it's good."
