Yannick Bolasie was thrilled to return from injury for Palace during the 1-0 win away to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, and revealed that he was looking forward to the quarter finals of the Emirates FA Cup.
"It was great to come on," he told Palace TV after the game. "It was a good result for us, into the next round. So I'm looking forward to that, but not only that, I'm happy to be back on the pitch playing."
Palace will face Reading away in the next round of the competition, but have several Premier League games to focus on before that. The Eagles haven't won in the top flight since December 19th away to Stoke, the last time Bolasie appeared in red and blue.
Shedding some light on his injury he said: "It was just before my shot, the keeper saved it and I felt a bit in my hip.
"Then when Chungy scored I tried to run off celebrating and that's when it just went."
Speaking of his recovery, Bolasie added: "It's been good, it's gone kind of quick to be honest. It was probably a much needed rest for myself. I've been playing a lot of football over the last 18 months for club and country, but I'm delighted to be back."
