Alan Pardew had some good news for Palace fans in his pre-Leicester City press conference, revealing that - after another full week of training - captain Scott Dann would be travelling with the squad to the game.
Though the manager went on to say Dann would likely start the tie on the bench, his return to the fold will be a welcome one, following three Premier League games out of action.
"He has trained this week, so he'll travel I think," said Pardew.
"It might be a slight risk to play Scott Dann from the start and I don't think the two other centre-halves deserve that, the way they've played. So I'll go with the two and Scotty will probably go on the bench. I wouldn't have been able to do that last year, so it's nice to have that luxury."
"We're all good from last week," he added when asked about any other injury concerns. "Loic is still [recovering]. We're still looking at the start of December for Loic and he's progressing well."
