We bring you the latest comments from the boardroom as Steve Parish pens his programme notes ahead of the game against Arsenal.
Monday night games under the lights are always a little bit special and hopefully this one proves to be no different. The games are coming thick and fast right now with the table constantly changing, so it's not a time for the faint-hearted.
Having done so well to win four games out of our last five, I guess we all thought things might be looking a little easier in our quest for survival, but with the teams around us winning too it looks like we will have to find a good few more victories to be safe.
The players and the staff are incredibly focused on that goal, as I know are all the supporters. There is no better show of faith than to buy a season ticket for next season when things are still to be decided, and I'm pleased to report we have sold almost 15,000 already which is above the previous sales for the same time of any season that we have been in the Premier League.
To everyone that has renewed I have to say a huge thank you! As for those who haven't got theirs yet there is still time to do so. All remaining seats have been released now so if you are thinking of diving in for the first time or maybe coming back after a break, now is the perfect time to jump in and get a good spot.
So back to the football, the last home game against Watford was a turgid affair but we managed to get the all-important goal to secure the win, and tonight I'm sure will be a much more exciting game. Let's hope we can come away with a result against what is a very good Arsenal team, despite what people are saying.
As usual it will seem like 12 versus 11 thanks to your fantastic support from the stands, so let's get the place rocking again and keep it that way for the whole of the 90 minutes, as well as the additional injury-time.
We all know how crucial the next eight games are for the club’s season. Everything else is pretty secondary right now so let's get behind the boys and see if we can get the job done and secure our Premier League status as soon as possible.
Up The Palace!
