Mamadou Sakho will make his Crystal Palace debut this afternoon as one of two changes to Sam Allardyce’s line-up to take on Middlesbrough at Selhurst Park.
The on-loan defender replaces Damien Delaney in the side after the 1-0 defeat to Stoke City two weeks ago, with Yohan Cabaye preferred to James McArthur in the middle of the park.
In Palace’s 300th Premier League fixture, there will also be a home debut for Luka Milivojevic after he made his first Eagles appearance at the Bet365 Stadium last time out, and Jason Puncheon has been named captain in the absence of Scott Dann who is on the bench after struggling with a nerve injury.
Aitor Karanka meanwhile has made three switches to the side that drew their last Premier League game against Everton, with Daniel Ayala coming into defence ahead of Calum Chambers, and Adama Traore has been benched in favour of Gaston Ramirez.
Also, Stewart Downing is recalled, with Adam Clayton the man to make way for the former England winger.
