Equality & Inclusion Day

25 November 2017

Today's match against Stoke City is the club’s designated Equality & Inclusion day.

Rainbow Laces campaign the Premier League, EFL, PGMOL, and The FA joined together to produce a unique rainbow photograph to show football standing together in support of LGBT inclusivity.

All 92 League Clubs will be supporting Stonewall’s initiative with various activities including rainbow-coloured captains’ armbands, laces and programme adverts.

The Premier League has introduced bespoke rainbow branding to its ball plinths, pitch flags, handshake boards, and timing boards. PGMOL will also be showing their support across the four divisions, with match officials wearing rainbow laces.

At the match against Stoke City both captains and the match referee will also be wearing branded armbands supporting the campaign.

Four flagbearers will lead out the teams with a Kick It Out flag and before that both teams will warm up wearing the KIO t-shirts.

Prior to the game our Palace For Life Foundation coaches will be handing out Kick It Out badges and stickers in the Fanzone and during half time the winners of a recently held Interfaith Tournament will be presented with their prizes on the pitch.

You can report incidents of discrimination for free through the @KickItOut App.
