Signed Poppy Shirts Raise Over £6,000

20 November 2017

Crystal Palace and Eagles fans have raised over £6,000 for the Royal British Legion after auctioning off the poppy-branded shirts worn in the game against Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month.

A grand total of £6,334 was raised by those bidders fortunate to get their hands on one of the limited edition signed jerseys, with the top sellers being Wilfried Zaha (£605), Julian Speroni (£562), Mamadou Sakho (£500) and Scott Dann (£455).

The club would like to thank all those supporters who made a bid during the week-long auctions, which have helped raised a significant sum for the Royal British Legion, the UK's leading service charity, who provide care and support to serving members of the armed forces, veterans of all ages and their families.
