Roy Hodgson has a couple of injury concerns going into this weekend’s game against West Ham United.
Chung-yong Lee had to leave the action during the cup match at Bristol on Tuesday evening and the midfielder is one of his squad that the manager is waiting on ahead of the match.
“Lee got a kick at Bristol and he’s having a scan today. James McArthur has been receiving treatment all week but we hope he will be OK,” revealed Hodgson at his pre-match press conference on Thursday lunchtime.
Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham are both the long term injuries but the manager said that Benteke, having been out for four weeks, is on track to be ready in a couple of weeks.
