On Tuesday night, Palace fans and corporate partners enjoyed an evening in the company of the Palace first-team management duo of Roy Hodgson and Ray Lewington.
Held in Selhurst Park's Stanley Stephenson suite, attendees were given a hugely entertaining repertoire of anecdotes from their time in management and stories from their playing days, including a touching tribute to the recently passed Ray Wilkins, all of which was superbly hosted by Barry Williams, who was joined on stage by comedian and Palace for Life trustee Kevin Day.
The club would like to thank event sponsor Rudridge for their tremendous support, as well as all other businesses who kindly supported this event by entertaining their guests to raise funds for the Foundation.
The Palace for Life Foundation would also like to thank everyone who attended the dinner, which raised £15,000 worth of pledges to help young south Londoners find a better path for a better life, and especially Roy Hodgson himself who generously donated £1,000 and joined their Investors Club.
To find out more about joining their Investors Club, or other ways to support the Foundation including taking part in their Marathon March on Saturday 13th October, visit their website or contact them via email or calling 07523 515 708
The next CPFC Summer Sporting Dinner will be taking place on Wednesday 9th May with special guest speakers Clinton Morrison and Iain Dowie, raising funds for Parkinson’s UK in support of David Jensen.
