German international midfielder Max Meyer took part in his first training session at Copers Cope on Friday morning.
The 22 year-old is Roy Hodgson's second signing of the week and he was soon into the action as our latest gallery shows him just hours after completing the move to Palace.
He has memories of playing at Selhurst Park in a pre-season friendly for Schalke so is looking forward to when he gets the chance to be out on the pitch taking in some of that much talked about SE25 atmosphere.
"I played at Selhurst Park last season for Schalke and the atmosphere was perfect, and I can't wait to experience the atmosphere for a Premier League game." he said in his first interview on Palace TV.
