Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has made just one change to his side for today’s game with Newcastle United, with ex-Magpie Yohan Cabaye reinstalled into the starting XI.
The Frenchman replaces Bakary Sako, who is out for the rest of the season after fracturing his ankle against West Ham United on Tuesday night, but Hodgson has resisted the temptation to also feature deadline day arrival Alexander Sorloth, who starts on the bench. Martin Kelly meanwhile will make his 100th Palace appearance.
After seeing his side held to a 1-1 draw with Burnley on Wednesday, Rafael Benitez has made three changes to his team, with Dwight Gayle also starting against his former team.
The ex-Eagle replaces Joselu, while Jonjo Shelvey and Matt Richie also return in place of Mikel Merino and Christian Atsu. Deadline day signing Martin Dubravka is named on the bench, while Islam Slimani is injured.
