Poland international Jaroslaw Jach has signed for Crystal Palace from Zagłębie Lubin on a three-and-a-half year contract.
The 23-year-old centre-back has two caps at international level having made his full debut last year, and will be the Eagles first ever Polish-born player.
Jach’s career started at Polish fourth-tier side Lechia Dzierżoniów in 2011 where he spent a couple of seasons before stepping up to the top-flight with Zagłębie. After they suffered relegation in his first season, he helped them return to the Ekstraklasa at the first attempt, and went on to play 78 times for the team known as the Coppers.
This season he has made 20 appearances in all competitions, scoring once, and his performances caught the attention of Poland boss Adam Nawałka, who handed Jach his first senior international caps last November in friendlies against Uruguay and Mexico.
