Roy Hodgson has named an unchanged side for today’s trip to Reading, but has named Luka Milivojevic and Connor Wickham amongst his substitutes at the Madejski Stadium.
The same 11 Palace players that started last Saturday’s 3-1 win at Oxford United will take the field in Berkshire, but Milivojevic see initial action in pre-season after his World Cup exploits, while Wickham could feature for the first-team for the first time since November 2016 after his knee injury.
After scoring for a Palace XI at Stevenage on Tuesday, Jonny Williams and Sullay Kaikai are also on the bench alongside five others who featured at the Lamex Stadium earlier this week.
Paul Clement includes summers signings David Meyler and Andy Yiadom in his starting line-up, but there is no place for defender Liam Moore who has handed in a transfer request.
Reading: Mannone, Gunter, Ilori, McShane, Yiadom, Meyler, Kelly, Swift, Barrow, Aluko, Meite. Subs: Walker, Blackett, Clement, Bodvarsson, Evans, Richards, McNulty.
Palace: Hennessey, Wan-Bissaka, Tomkins, Sakho, Van Aanholt, Townsend, McArthur, Riedewald, Schlupp, Zaha, Sørloth. Subs: Guaita, Ward, Souare, Kelly, Puncheon, Milivojevic, Williams, Kaikai, Wickham.
