Serbia Defeat For Luka In Turin

23 March 2018

Luka Milivojevic came on as substitute at the start of the second half on Friday evening as Serbia went down 2-1 in their international friendly against Morocco as both countries continue to prepare for their World Cup appearance this summer.

All the goals came in the first period with Hakim Ziyech giving Morocco the lead from the penalty spot just before the half hour mark and then provided the cross for Khalid Boutaib to put them ahead once again with a close range header after Dusan Tadic had equalised.

It was a disappointing performance for the Serbians but they nearly got back on level terms with late chances falling to Filip Kostic and Aleksandar Mitrovic but they were not to be converted and the match ended in defeat.

Serbia will be looking to get back to winning ways when Milivojevic will once again be part of the squad who face Nigeria in a friendly game at Barnet's stadium on Tuesday evening.
