Palace defender Patrick van Aanholt spoke about his side's well earned draw with Arsenal, but suggested the Eagles could have taken more than a point from the game.
Speaking with Palace TV's Chris Grierson, Van Aanholt said, "It could have been a victory, of course. But fortunately we didn't lose so I'm happy with that. We'll take a point but we'd sooner have three.
"I think we had a brilliant game you know, we started very strongly. We knew they were going to press us - they're a pressing team as the gaffer warned us. But we had a game plan and we stuck to it."
Reflecting upon Luka Milivojević's brace of penalties, Van Aanholt expressed his confidence in the team captain and his ability to convert.
"We all knew he'd score the penalties. Last season he scored about 10. I knew, today I said to him 'you're going to get one and you're going to score it. So, don't worry about it: it's a new game, it's a new chance."
At the other end of the field, Palace put in a resolute performance defensively, and Van Aanholt explained just how the team's approach worked.
"We had a gameplan and we stuck to it. We were very compact and I think the defence did its job. They didn't manage to break us down much like they have with other teams. I'm pleased."
