The club’s Chief Executive, Phil Alexander, has unanimously been voted onto the Professional Game Board (PGB) at the Football Association as the Premier League’s representative.
At a meeting of the Premier League shareholders last week, Phil was named as part of the PGB which consists of representatives from the Premier League and Football League. The Board works towards protecting the interests of the game within the FA structure and carries the mandates of professional clubs in this country.
Alexander spoke of his pride at the recognition as he prepares to take his place on the Board. “It is a great honour for me to be elected by my peers in the Premier League to represent them on the PGB. It is also hugely beneficial for the Club to have a representative at the highest level of the FA to be informed and have an influence."
