Brazilian goalkeeper Lucas Perri has joined Crystal Palace from São Paulo on loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy once the loan spell concludes.
The 21-year-old, 6 foot 4 inch shot-stopper progressed through the youth set-up of São Paulo and has also played for Brazil Under-20s, with whom he featured in the South American Under-20 Championship in 2015 and 2017.
Having put pen to paper earlier today, Perri said, "It's an amazing feeling, I'm really glad to join the club. Two months ago, I knew [about] the possibility to join Palace. Since then, I was pretty anxious to be here because I really wanted that. It's huge, it's a really important thing to me. It's the opportunity of my life and I'm going to do whatever it takes."
He joins a talented group of goalkeepers at Palace and will wear the number 22 shirt. Perri becomes the fourth Brazilian to join the south London club, following in the footsteps of Andre Moritz, Fumaça and Diego Cavalieri.
