WATCH: The Crystal Palace Academy FIFA 19 Tournament

1 January 2019

Football itself may be a competitive sport to be involved with, but little gets more intense than a game of FIFA 19 between young athletes.

So when members of the Crystal Palace Academy sat down to battle it out as Palace took on Palace in the Academy FIFA 19 tournament, it's fair to say that things got heated.

You can see how the lads got on in the video below, as TQ Addy and Rohan Luthra represent the Under-18s against Sam Woods and Tyler Brown, who fly the flag for the Under-23s.

If you too want to represent the Palace in a fiery FIFA tournament, why not register your interest in the ePremier League?

The Premier League and EA Sports have now opened registration for the inaugural ePremier League (ePL) tournament, offering UK-based players over the age of 16 the chance to compete for - and represent - their club at FIFA 19.

All 20 Premier League clubs will be represented in the tournament, giving FIFA players the chance to live their dream of winning a title for their favourite club on the new game. The ePL competitive gaming tournament on EA SPORTS FIFA 19 kicks off in January 2019 and players will compete for three months across three rounds: online qualification, live club playoffs (in south London during February) and the eventual live ePL Final (in London on March 28-29).

If you’re a UK-based Palace fan, over the age of 16 and fancy your FIFA skills, make sure you register before midnight tonight (4 Jan) by clicking here.
