Crystal Palace Under-18s face Newcastle United once again in the FA Youth Cup fourth round on Thursday evening, renewing a fixture last contested in 2018.
On that occasion, Palace were narrowly edged out 3–2 in a closely fought contest. Goals from Nya Kirby and Tariq Ossai kept the Eagles in the tie, while current first-team regular Tyrick Mitchell featured in a side full of emerging talent.

A Palace academy goalkeeper from 2016, Webber gained senior experience through loans at Whyteleafe, Greenwich Borough and Dover Athletic before turning professional in 2019. He departed the club in 2022 and returned to Glentoran, later moving on to Woking and Slough Town. He continues his career in non-league football.
Ossai joined Palace at Under-13 level and progressed through the academy before departing at Under-18s. He has since built a solid non-league career with Chippenham Town, Ashford United and Faversham Town, playing a crucial role in Faversham’s league title success.
After joining from Brentford in 2016, Mitchell rose rapidly through the ranks to become a Palace first-team regular. He has since established himself as one of the Premier League’s most consistent full-backs, earned senior England honours and was part of the Palace side that lifted the FA Cup in 2024/25.
Demby spent time on loan at several non-league clubs during his Palace scholarship before departing at Under-18 level. He went on to feature for the likes of Dorking Wanderers, South Park and Sevenoaks Town, most recently playing for Redhill.
After leaving Palace at Under-18 level, Onoabhagbe continued his senior career in non-league football, with spells at Braintree Town and, more recently, Coggeshall Town and Basildon United.
Lynch was part of the Palace Academy setup before moving into senior football following his release. He joined Hackney Wick FC, a community-focused semi-professional club founded to provide opportunities for players released from academies.
A Palace Academy player from Under-11s through to Under-21s, Robertson turned professional with Forest Green Rovers in 2022. He later had spells at Crewe Alexandra, Derry City and Shamrock Rovers, continuing his career across England and Ireland.
A highly regarded attacking midfielder in his youth, Kirby featured prominently for Palace and England’s youth sides and scored in the 2018 Youth Cup tie. After loan spells at Blackpool and Tranmere Rovers, he departed Palace in 2022 and has since played for Oxford City and AFC Croydon Athletic, where he remains involved in the game.
Daly joined Palace aged 14 and progressed to a professional contract, featuring regularly for the Under-23s. He has since enjoyed a steady EFL and non-league career with Bristol Rovers, Stevenage, Woking, Harrogate Town and Aldershot Town, and now represents Yeovil Town.
Aveiro signed a professional deal with Palace in 2018 and was a regular at youth level. After spells with QPR and Slough Town, the attacking midfielder is currently without a club, having last featured in non-league football.
After turning professional at Palace, Hungbo moved on to Watford and later enjoyed loan spells across England and Scotland, notably winning SPFL Goal of the Month with Ross County. He has since played in Germany with Nürnberg and returned to England, where he currently represents Wigan Athletic.
