Meyer's Career in Pictures

Despite being aged just 22, Max Meyer has packed quite a lot into his fledgling footballing career to date, and you can see some of the highlights in our gallery.
The German international’s move to Palace is the first transfer of his career, having featured nearly 200 times for Schalke since bursting onto the scene in 2013. As well as helping re-establish them as a force in the Bundesliga and feature in the UEFA Champions League, he has tasted plenty of success at international level, at various age groups.
Meyer has lifted the UEFA U17 and U21 Championships and claimed an Olympic silver medal in Rio in 2016, but has also won four caps for the full German side as well as being called up to their provisional squad for the 2014 World Cup.
Take a look through some iconic imagery from Meyer’s playing days so far, with many more shots soon to be added to the collection in the famous red and blue stripes over the coming years.
