The pre-match poll: Choose your favourite win at the Amex!
Crystal Palace travel to Brighton & Hove Albion's Amex Stadium on Sunday afternoon (14:00 BST), seeking to continue their strong run of form at the home of their rivals – a ground on which they have enjoyed some standout results since 2011.
Ahead of the game – which pits Palace against an in-form Brighton team, third in the Premier League ahead of the weekend – we've picked out five of our favourite victories on the ground.
Your task? Relive the highlights of all of them below – then choose your favourite in the poll above!
Brighton 1-3 Palace - September 2011
First and famous: Palace's first trip to the Amex Stadium sees them come from behind to become the first team to defeat Brighton at their new ground, thanks to three late goals from Wilifred Zaha, Darren Ambrose and – ironically – Glenn Murray.
Brighton 0-2 Palace - May 2013
'Zaha, oh yes!': Two iconic Zaha goals settled our promotion-winning play-off semi-final, accompanied by an iconic celebration and the memorable commentary line “ZAHA, OH YES!”. Unforgettable.
Brighton 0-1 Palace - February 2020
Ayew the matchwinner: Jordan Ayew's second-half goal gave Palace a first win over the Seagulls in three attempts, and ended a seven-year wait for a win at Amex Stadium, as Roy Hodgson celebrated his 100th match in charge of the Eagles.
Brighton 1-2 Palace - February 2021
'Smash and grab, baby!': The immortal words of Joel Ward after Christian Benteke, on in the 75th minute, smashed home a volleyed winner six minutes into added time to give Palace the unlikeliest of wins at the Amex. The only crime is that no fans were inside the stadium to see it – but we still like to relive it from time to time…
Brighton 1-3 Palace - December 2024
Sarr tears Brighton apart: Trevoh Chalobah and Ismaila Sarr (two) got the goals as a razor-sharp Crystal Palace breezed past rivals Brighton at the Amex Stadium – the first half of a league double that season over the Seagulls.
