It's official. Evann Guessand is an Eagle.
Still just 24-years-old, the Ivory Coast international has his best years in front of him and wanting to show his undoubted potential at Selhurst Park.
But he's already achieved plenty in his career to date.

Guessand made his Nice senior debut back in 2020 making sporadic first-team appearances over the next two seasons. Here is he netting the winner in an incredible 3-2 victory over Lyon.
On loan to Nantes for the duration of the 2022/2023 season, Guessand had a breakthrough season, playing 30 times in France's top-flight and playing a big role in his team staying up.
Here is scoring against AC Ajaccio in a 2-0 win.
Guessand also helped Nantes to the knockout phase of the Europa League, featuring against Italian giants Juventus.
Returning to Nice for the 2023/24 season, Guessand became a first-team regular at Allianz Riviera.

After an excellent year at Nice, the Premier League came calling last summer as Guessand made the switch to Aston Villa.
He featured in the meeting between Villa and Palace at the end of the August, with the Eagles running out 3-0 winners.
The forward scored twice in the Europa League league phase as the Villans qualified for the knockout stage, Guessand celebrating here in a win over Basel.
Guessand was called up to Ivory Coast's squad for the African Cup of Nations in December, scoring in a 3-2 win over Gabon in the group stage.
