Crystal Palace make the short trip to Hayes Lane on Saturday (15:00 BST) to face Bromley in our next pre-season fixture – which you can watch live on Palace TV+.
Former Palace player and coach Andy Woodman is in the managerial hotseat at the Ravens, having led them to two promotions in last three years, taking the club into the EFL for the first time.
Aside from Woodman there are plenty of connections between the two clubs separated by just seven miles.
Let’s take a look at some of the players that have represented both sides.
Imray spent the entirety of the 2024/25 season on-loan at Bromley and proved a huge success.
Despite neither Imray, or the club, having any previous experience in the Football League, he quickly became a popular player at Hayes Lane.
Under the guidance of Woodman, Imray played in 42 games across all competitions for the Ravens, predominantly as a winger rather than a wing-back.
Along the way, he scored twice and registered five assists, showcasing his attacking ability to the Bromley faithful.
His performances saw him earn Bromley's Young Player of the Season award, with the club managing an impressive finish of 11th in their very first season in the EFL.
Imray featured in our first pre-season game against Swindon last week and could make a return to his former stomping ground on Saturday.
A talented midfielder who came through at our Academy, Woods made his senior debut for the Eagles in October 2018.
Replacing Pape Souare against Middlesbrough in an EFL Cup tie, Woods would go on to make two further appearances at senior level the following season.
He departed South London at the end of the 2020/21 season, joining Barnet. But Woods returned to the area when signing for Bromley in the summer of 2023.
He was part of the squad that earned promotion from non-league, which culminated in a play-off final victory at Wembley.
A versatile operator, Woods was used in a variety of positions by manager Woodman and contributed with four goals in the league. He departed Hayes Lane the following season and now plays for AFC Croydon Athletic.
Hannam arrived at Palace from the West Ham academy following a successful trial in the summer of 2020.
The following season he was on the bench for the first five Premier League fixtures of the season, as part of the first-team squad.
The left-back was loaned out to Bromley ahead of 2022/23 in a quest to gain experience of senior football.
The Ravens were at the time in the National League and Hannam’s move proved to be something of a success – scoring twice from defence and making 17 league appearances before he was recalled in January 2023.
Hannam now plies his trade in Germany with fourth-tier side VfR Aalen.
