With a tense game approaching half-time, the Colombian full-back made a typically energetic run to the far post and adjusted his body shape well to head Marc Guéhi's delivery back across goal and into the far corner – and that ended up being the decisive contribution on the night.
Muñoz was also influential in much of Palace's attacking play, another bursting run teeing up Jean-Philippe Mateta early in the second-half, and solid at the back, making six clearances.
Those efforts were enough to see Muñoz secure 43.3% of your Player of the Match votes, with Dean Henderson (15.7%), Guéhi (15.3%) and Chris Richards (13.4%) also all scoring highly on a night where defences were largely on top.
