Palace centre-back Maxence Lacroix recently joined children and families at Palace for Life's third annual Christmas Grotto, helping see in the festive season while supporting those who need it most.
Last week, Lacroix, alongside 74 South London children from two partner schools, visited the Foundation's third Christmas Grotto to aide their work in supporting young South Londoners during the festive period.
The defender got stuck in with calling the numbers for bingo, playing pin the carrot on the snowman... as well as giving Santa a helping hand in giving out presents!
After the tradition began in 2022, the Grotto has become an event the Foundation love holding every year.
A big reason for that is that some local families continue to be deeply affected by the cost of living crisis and cannot afford to provide a special Christmas for their children. Every child who attends the Grotto receive a present and a £20 ALDI voucher to help with the big Christmas shop.
This forms part of the Foundation's wider work supporting more than 18,000 young people each year.
