In his pre-match press conference, new Fulham manager Álvaro Arbeloa said that he believes the two sides will know each other well after meeting in pre-season less than a month ago.
The Eagles won out that night, 2-1 in a behind-closed-doors friendly, and have a strong record at Craven Cottage in recent years.
Both sides are searching for their first Premier League points of the season, and the former Liverpool and Real Madrid defender is expecting a tight game.
Arbeloa was also complimentary of his opposite number, Pierre Sage who, like the Spaniard, is new to Premier League management.
“He's [Sage] a new manager for them, also,” Arbeloa said. “I think the season is so, so, so long, and I can understand that normally fans are not patient because they want points.
