A game that Palace had opportunities to get back into ended in a 3-1 defeat and the striker was disappointed that he didn’t open his account for Roy Hodgson’s side.
“I am never satisfied if I don’t score, that’s how I see it but I had some good action but it wasn’t enough today.
“We were not creating enough on the last third as much we should but still had some chances that could have gone our way and maybe the game would have gone differently.”
Asked how he is settling in to life in England, the 22 year old is quick to stress that he has been made welcome and with eleven games left is anxious for the injured players to return as the battle for points at the bottom of table continues to get more intense.
“Really fast, it’s a good group of guys who are treating me well and the manager believes in me, I can feel that, which makes it easier.
“Hopefully we will get the guys back from injury and have a stronger side available and so we just need to keep fighting and get those points.”
