He joined Palace at Under-15 level from Chelsea and has continued to develop steadily both on and off the pitch, having previously been part of the Under-15 side that finished runners-up in the U15 National Floodlit Cup in 2021/22.
Hill signed his scholarship ahead of the 2023/24 season and made his Under-18 debut in the Premier League Cup semi-final against Manchester United, going on to make three appearances in total during his first year as a scholar.
In 2024/25, he established himself as the Under-18s’ first-choice 'keeper, making 19 appearances across all competitions and keeping four clean sheets. His progress was recognised as he was named Palace Scholar of the Year at the end-of-season Premier League Youth Development Conference.
Ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, Hill stepped up into Darren Powell’s Under-21 squad, initially providing cover before gaining valuable senior experience during a loan spell at Raynes Park Vale in the Isthmian South Central Division.
He became a fan favourite and made 16 appearances for the Step Four side, keeping four clean sheets as they finished 14th, before an injury curtailed what had been a strong and important developmental spell.
