The imposing defender was part of Dave Cooper’s Under-15 side that finished runners-up in the U15 National Floodlit Cup final against Sunderland in 2021/22.
He became ever-present for the Under-18s in 2022/23, making 25 of a possible 26 appearances in all competitions, while also earning multiple call-ups to England Under-17 duty during the campaign. His performances were rewarded with a scholarship ahead of the 2023/24 season, during which he also featured for the Under-21s on their pre-season tour of Salt Lake City.
Jemide signed his first professional contract in November 2023 and occasionally captained the Under-18s throughout the 2023/24 campaign. He made his first Under-21 appearance in April 2024, featuring against Fulham in the Premier League Cup quarter-final.
He went on to finish the 2023/24 season with 26 appearances across both age groups (19 for the U18s and seven for the U21s), culminating in a standout display in the Premier League International Cup final at Selhurst Park, where he started and kept a clean sheet in the triumph over Jong PSV.
Ahead of the 2024/25 season, Jemide was included in the first-team squad for the pre-season tour of the United States. He then made 14 consecutive Under-21 appearances at the start of the campaign, scoring against Anderlecht, before an injury in December halted his momentum.
He returned to action in April 2025, starting for the Under-18s against Arsenal, and finished the 2024/25 season with 18 Under-21 appearances and two for the U18s, keeping two clean sheets.
In 2025/26, Jemide remained a regular feature in Darren Powell’s Under-21 side, making 20 appearances and registering one assist. His form during the first half of the season earned successive call-ups to the England Under-19 squad.
Although injury disrupted the start of 2026, he returned to feature during Palace’s run to the Premier League 2 play-off quarter-finals, where the Young Eagles were eventually eliminated by Manchester United.
